Dr. Tuan recognized with the Carnegie Life Science Award

The 20th annual Carnegie Science Awards celebration was May 6 at Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland. Carnegie Science Center established the Carnegie Science Awards program in 1997 to recognize and promote outstanding science and technology achievements in western Pennsylvania. Dr. Tuan was presented the Life Sciences Award for his research in musculoskeletal biology and tissue regeneration covering basic science and engineering, as well as translation and clinical applications. About 400 guests attended the awards presentation and fundraiser.
